一个艺术计划空间的闪回（2005-2009）
《闪回》聚集了一组来自不同背景、借助不同媒介创作的国际艺术家，是对意中艺术工作室五年制作的回顾。2005年我们从朝阳公园地区搬到了798厂，在这里创立了我们的艺术计划空间，是有意要通过一个可以让艺术表达的不同形式汇聚的重要地点来进行一些创造性的探索。经过多年的与艺术家、策展人、学术机构、媒体和其他艺术相关人士的合作，我们尝试了众多的艺术项目，这些都不同程度地挑战和扩充了我们的艺术实践。这个展览的目的是追溯–以一种闪回的方式–我们作为一个在北京的艺术空间的历史的某些时刻，并表示我们对与这些艺术家的关系的深刻的理解。这些年来，以及经过数个展览，他们的作品成为了发人深省的艺术想法的创造性评估。这些作品为我们的计划带来了灵感，形成了一个共同的过去经验的基础，现在我们愿意把这些分享给更多的人。其中的部分作品曾经在中国被短暂地展出过。它们代表了我们与这个世界艺术圈美丽相遇的一小部分，同时也是许多我们遇见的特殊的人的超凡造诣的点点呈现。这所有的人，我们把这个展览献给你们。

A retrospective glance on five years of offiCina’s productions, “Flashbacks” puts together a group of international artists from different backgrounds and creating in diverse media. In 2005 we moved from Chaoyang Park area to Factory 798 to set up here our art project space. It was meant to embrace creative exploration through a vital meeting place for diverse forms of artistic expression. Through an evolving collaboration with artists, curators, academic institutions, media and other art-related people, we have worked on heterogeneous artistic assignments that have challenged and expanded our practice. The show aims to retrace - in a flashback manner - some moments of our history as an art space in Beijing and intends to give an insight on our relationship with the artists involved. Through the years and in several exhibitions, their works emerged as the creative assessment of thought-provoking artistic minds.
These works contributed ideas to our projects forming the basis of a common past experience that we now wish to share with larger audiences.
Some of these pieces have been shown in China for a short period of time. They represent only a portion of our beautiful encounters with the world art community and the accomplishments of a few among many special people we met.
We dedicate this exhibit to them all.
